Alicia Louzoun-Heisler is a playwright and filmmaker who holds an MFA from NYU Tisch. She was a story editor on the James Patterson Audible series Murder in Bermuda starring Mary-Louise Parker and the winner of the Goldberg New Play Prize, the Patty Abramson Play Prize, Launchpad’s Mentorship Prize, and the Elizabeth Cuthrell Prize at Fusion Film Festival. Her work has also been recognized by the Uprise Grant at Sundance Film Institute, the Athena List, Slamdance Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, The Workshop Theater, the Catwalk Institute. Alicia is a member of Ensemble Studio Theater LA’s New West Playwrights cohort, and her plays have been produced by Full Circle Theater Company and in association with Crossroads Theater Company. Her experimental short films have screened at St. Louis International Film Festival, and other venues across the country.
